Johannes Luijten graduated from Delft University of Technology in 2013. In 2014 he founded the University spin-off Adjuvo. Within Adjuvo, Johannes works on the development of products that capture and support human motion. A robotic glove for home based rehabilitation of stroke patients, A Brain Computer Interface controlled arm exoskeleton for MND patients, and a smart glove for Haptic/Force feedback in Virtual Reality are among the projects he is currently working on.
Exploring the possibilities of Virtual Reality in rehabilitation
Hand presents is a powerful tool to enhance immersion in virtual reality. The development of affordable motion capturing systems for Virtual Reality opens new possibilities in health care. From tools for function assessment to complex simulations and training tasks of daily life living, this seminar discusses and shows the possibilities.
